Dining and Occasional Chairs
Kevin Andrews specialise in the making, renovating, repairing and re-upholstering of dining chairs and occasional chairs.
New bespoke chairs built to customers’ requirements are available. We can create chairs for you with the perfect dimensions, wood, stain, fabric and finish. For example, braid, double piping, close or space nailing.
We also make occasional chairs suited to your personal taste and the style of your lounge, dining room or bedroom, upholstered in a fabric of your choice, a variety of sizes, a selection of wood finishes, and various styles of feet and castors.
All of our dining and occasional chairs are hand-made. We only use first rate components and materials to ensure comfort and durability.

Antique furniture restoration
We generally will strip the item down to the bare frame, repair all loose joints, then strip and re-polish all finished woodwork. The item is then re-upholstered using traditional methods such as springs, horse hair fibre and felts.
An in-house French polishing service is also available for small restoration pieces, however, for larger items we recommend that you contact our French polisher Robert Archer directly.
